  December 18, 2010 - Hard tannins, decent nose but the best thing is the backbone. Nice surpirese at this price: 6 euros. How many other spanish wines would like to have this quality at 6 euros?. I have to recognize the good work of this wine. You can't ask more for this price.

  November 10, 2010 - Taste of the Town II (M&M Restaurant, Galveston, TX): Amazing nose. Black fruit, spice, tobacco, cherry, almost overripe. On the palate, nice flavors of blackberry, black cherry, smoke, plum, spice, vanilla. Finishes with smooth but present tannins. Drinks way above its price tag. Paired with canapes of smoked duck, smoked salmon, and caviar, almost a perfect match for all three.

  August 23, 2010 - Walker Trade Show (Newport): Richer, deeper wine then the regular Roble. Lots of fruit. Good. 86-87

  June 14, 2010 - Much better than any prior vintage I have tried. The dusty tannins fool your palate into thinking you're drinking something at least twice the price. Great offering. Amazing QPR.
