5/7/10: At first, I really enjoyed this. Had a cool, funky nose that wasn't altogether typical. And the palate was bright, tasty, and interesting. The fruit profile seemed a little different. More stone fruits. But then I tried this later and it didn't hold the interest. Seemed more like a typical SB from Cali, high acidity, but still not really refreshing. 87-89

8/23/10: Didn't spend as much time with it, but I thought this had great Zin flavors. Delicious. 88-89

5/7/10: At first, soft, supple, and pretty yummy. However, there's not enough structure here for it to hold together for a whole glass. Solid enough, though. 87

8/23: Lovely red fruit. This is one of my favorite Cabs at this price point coming out of California. Has those mountain tannins. Well structured. Not over the top. Well done. 90

New packaging, new winemaker, new everything. Unfortunately, change isn't always good. This is a softer, almost candied Petite Sirah. Tastes rather generic and in my opinion is a huge step down from the great Petite's I've become used to from this estate.

Richer style. Just doesn't do it for me. Too bad, I like the label. 83-84

I second the comments about being Rhone Like. This is a rich, fruit forward white that is very round. It does have a yummilicious quality to it. Tough at $20, but I won't say it's not worth it. 89+
