November 19, 2014 - One hour decant, dark pour, long, slow moving legs. The nose was filled with tar, roses, vanilla, currant. The palate contains both strong acidity and grippy tannins, both a little over the top but not enough to deter from enjoying the wine. Fairly full bodied with a medium finish, definitely enough to bring me back to this region's version of a montepulciano.

September 27, 2011 - This is the single vineyard offering. The vineyard slopes right down into the sea. Tasty stuff, has that saline, tangy, cherry salt fruit mixed with meatiness. Works at $30.

April 3, 2011 - A wine with great structure and potential exhibiting lots of red and black fruit, a well balanced oak, tannins, very good concentration and long lentgth. First tried this wine @ Cul De Sac in Rome - a great place for finding small Italian producers and having nice food. Then discovered this at a retail store in my city. Will keep some bottles to see how this develops. Cheers!

Potentieel complex. Lekker nog een poosje laten liggen.
