March 21, 2016 - Bourgogne Wine Alliance, Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Hospices de Beaune - Beaune France): Tasting from magnum, brief note. Apple with moderate concentration on nose and palate. Perhaps more classily lean vs 2010 and 2013, but less fun or power to me tonight.

June 15, 2015 - Greenish yellow. Slight vanilla and butter on the nose. Fresh on the palate. Strong minerilaty throughout the fairly long finish. Sipping very nicely now and may lay down a few more years. We earlier sipped another Chassagne-Montrachet from Bruno Colin - different parcel - and this was dramatically different and, arguably, better.

March 20, 2013 - Fleeting impressions from the Goedhuis tasting (Saatchi Gallery, London SW3): Ripe, tangy, spicy. Rather warm. Good

December 3, 2011 - Pop up and pour, served on a Mediterranean barracuda. Bright pale colour. Nice expressive nose of hay, citrus, buttery, finishing with orange essential spirit. Mouth less complex and balanced as the nose : fresh, not to much thick, not creamy as expected, has a core of roasted cereals, ending with the bitterness of a pomelo. Medium bodied, balance and fat could be better, not to simple as the price would say (25eur). Keep in your cellar, it have an improving margin. A simple Chassagne, but with good character. I'll taste it tomorrow.
