May 5, 2011 - The acid backbone of this wine carries it from start to finish, maintaining a somewhat rigid but nonetheless appropriate support. Wet limestone and mineral form a framework that supports flavors of gooseberry, peach, cut grass and a touch of boxwood. A solid wine. 13% alc. With spicy shrimp and polenta. Recommended.

December 3, 2010 - A quick and easy choice when given notice of chevre on the menu. Acid and mineral form a framework that strings along flavors of gooseberry, (peach, chimes the spousal unit and who’s to argue), cut grass and a touch of boxwood. The finish is wet limestone. 13% alc. With a baguette and artisan blue chevre from Massachusetts. A very nice pairing. Recommended.

November 30, 2010 - Grapefruit and mineral, with some punchy acids. Fine at $24 but doesn't really distinguish itself from the crowd.

July 22, 2010 - A classic Sancerre and a classic QPR. Clean, crisp and clear with abundant grip from the crisp acidity and great flavors of grass, gooseberry and a touch of boxwood. One of the few “reasonably priced” Sancerre’s out there. 13% alc. With pickled shrimp. 07.22.10. Recommended.

    March 24, 2010 - Saturdays at One - Volume 14: WIML89

Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of grapefruit, lime, sea foam and a hint of peaches and acacia flowers. Flavors of grapefruit, lime and light peach notes. Some added notes of apricot core. Medium to bright acidity, medium body. Drink over the short term.
