January 10, 2022 - Burgundy Dinner with Friends (RPM Seafood - Chicago IL): Way, way, way past its peak.

December 4, 2019 - First Wednesday Wine Club (Napoli in Bocca, Haberfield): Served blind. Butter, honey, cedar, acacia, a little sweet spice, slight baked apple and stone fruit. Juicy acidity, textured, a little drying on the finish, that apple and stone fruit with butter and honey. Burgundy?

June 10, 2017 - Deep yellow straw colour. Nose is warm hay, white shoe cream. Palate is lovely.... just the merest hint of white Rioja oxidisation nicely mineraly and with some charred lemon skins. Smoothly honeyed lemon curd. Good acidity. Pleasant resonance and length. Very enjoyable but probably drinking at its best and I wouldn't leave it in the cellar much longer.
