October 11, 2006 - I usually find that the Oregon Pinots fall between the two stools of Burgundy and Calipinot, and this is no exception. Dark cherry/purple color. Not especially giving on the nose. The wine's best feature was the full mouthfeel with a spice chaser. Somewhat flabby, but that arises more from the vintage than the skill (or lack thereof) of the winemaker. Decent for the price.

December 1, 2005 - Nice archetypal barnyard nose, mossy and mushrooms, jammy fruitiness upfront. Uncomplicated but balanced.
