February 10, 2010 - I wasn't sure about this at first, but it turned out beautifully. Holy crap! Great barnyard smell and sour cherries. You could taste the biodynamic goodness - so much easier to drink than most red wines and completely without harshness.

January 18, 2010 - Some sour barnyard-y stuff on the nose, not sure if i love it, but it grew on me. raspberry on the palette but needs a bit of sweetness to balance the acidity

December 11, 2009 - Fer Servadou variety - drinks like a cross between a cot and pineal d'aunis. Deep, intense color, would appear to be extracted but does not drink so. Great spiciness on the nose and palate, pepper and iron. There is a very pleasant funk on the nose that only adds more richness to the experience. There is a meatiness here that reminds me of a young vine syrah. Everything is nicely balanced and nuanced, and at the same time very approachable. This is no lightweight but never pondering or self indulgent. I really, really like this stuff.

October 28, 2009 - Dressner Day 1 (NYC): Tasty stuff. I sure do like me my Marcillac. This is funky, but finishes clean, with a little bit of crunch.
