May 23, 2019 - Maybe a touch advanced. It still showed caramel, nut fruit, brown sugar and botyris note. Good density with bright acidity while showing some pleasant secondary note. Still had good energy.

September 12, 2018 - Le Cinq Legends Dinner 2018 (Le Cinq Restaurant, George Cinq Four Seasons, Paris): Big prominent bubbles give this real weight. Gorgeous mature flavors with preserved lemons. So alive and energetic.

November 7, 2015 - From magnum. Certainly the most controversial bottle of the evening. The nose begins with light petrol and skunk, the combination of which was not at all unpleasant to me despite how it may sound. This mellows into unsalted brown butter with time. Very sharp on the palate with funky notes throughout. Different, difficult to pin down, but enjoyable at least to my palate.

November 2, 2011 - Fresh chives and caramel nose with a lemon sherbert palate that evolves to lemon curd. Then turns in to liquid biscuits (Petit Lu). Small concentrated bubbles. Still fresh after 36 years.
