  February 26, 2023 - ABV: 8.0%. A nectar of the gods! It's everything one can ask for in an Auslese ... and then some! Explosive nose of honey and ripe stone fruits (think apricots, peaches, and nectarines) mixed with a hint of beeswax. There's a rich and viscous mouthfeel that coats your palate with fruity goodness, and the acidity is balanced exquisitely as you enjoy a Riesling party on your tongue. A gorgeous finish, leaving a crème brulée taste on your palate after each sip. How can anyone dislike this wine?! This is drinking great now at 20-years-old, but there's enough sugar and acidity to keep it alive until the 30, 40, and even 50-year mark. Note: Paired beautifully with Indian cuisine.

  January 11, 2013 - This bottle was quite sweet with just barely enough acidity to support the sweetness. Good complexity of floral, citrus, and harvest fruits. Pairs better with spicy foods than slightly sweet foods.

  September 2, 2010 - yellow gold, compelling apple, spiced pea, just a touch of petrol, ginger, cardamom; a tad fat in the mouth- needed a to be colder or have a bit more acid. overall excellent.
