October 16, 2021 - Gorgeous, soft, and mature, with balance, structure, and a velvet grip. Resolved dark fruit, with the barest hint of candied cherry. An excellent Barolo in peak form.

June 2, 2019 - Tar and roses on the nose, with elegant, balanced fruit and a lingering, silky finish. A medium-bodied 14-year-old barolo, now showing secondaries and drinking very well. Structured for 10+ years ahead.

November 3, 2017 - At James Sucking tasting.
Complex aroma of fruits and secondary characters. Good mid weight on palate with a balanced silky tannin for Barolo. Tasted along with '09, the '05 is much better. 93+

March 6, 2016 - Signature candied cherries, this 2005 has a longer more sustained finish with lovely tannins and delicious mouthfeel. So far never a bad bottle. Well worth being a (very good) table wine option.

November 28, 2015 - Tried in a mini-wine tasting event. Decanted for 4 hours before drinking, the aroma of blackberries and oak are present, but not strong enough. Relatively light-bodied, rare in the Barolos I have drunken before. Very silky and soft, just like Ceretto's Brunate and Zonchera which I have tasted before. On the palate, cherries and plum, a bit spicy, and moderate acidity. It has a long finishing, with traces of vanilla and chocolate. Good wine overall, but in my opinion, Ceretto's Barbarescos are better.
