    May 2, 2023 - From magnum.
Fantastic bottle. The wine had a very dark ruby color and a beautiful nose. On the palate, typical flavors of top-notch Super-Tuscan wines. Very long finish with well-integrated tannins.
This is superb to drink now.

May 3, 2019 - Ok. I am warming to this - big time. Still big and bold and brooding, but after a good decant I am starting to appreciate it for what it is - an outstanding wine. Liquorice and menthol. Plums and chocolate. Still super fresh, I think this is 5 years out from its peak. 4 more in the cellar to enjoy.

March 16, 2019 - I am not going to get too carried away here. Yes, it is very good and will have a long life ahead, but it’s a bit too big for me. A steak wine for sure, lots of dark fruit and chocolatey aromas which carries through to the palate. Maybe a bit angular for my liking. It didn’t open up a whole lot even after 2 hours. Maybe in a dumb phase? Will revisit and will be proven wrong I am sure.

June 14, 2017 - Wine10 monthly meeting (Pastel restaurants): very good super-tuscan nose & palate
rustic firm tannins, quality country-side wine
