  August 7, 2010 - Really enjoyed this last night with cheese ravioli and pesto. Rhone whites are something I would not have loved 1-2 years ago, not bright or cutting enough. This is very appealing and despite some gras it comes off as balanced overall. It has ripe fruit with apricot peach flavors, but with focus. The fruit is offset and complimented by a structure from a little acid and a stony minerality. As it warmed from cellar to room temperature, it gained in flavor, but didn't show excess alcohol. Very well made wine in a hot vintage.

  April 17, 2010 - Nice St J white. White peach nose with a lot of depth. Maybe a scosh of coco-nutty oak.
  Good body with some glycerol and mineral, slightly soft style, not a ton of acids as expected.
  Didn't hold up very well overnight, oxidized flavors show with more mineral and nuts, less fruit on day 2.
