December 29, 2016 - surprisingly strong taste of twizzlers, lots of a tea note, and a good amount of black cherry and a lot of earth.
pretty good but not great.

June 22, 2011 - Not decanted.
Good bottle, clean cork, no sediment.
Look: Red to brick red (2007).
Nose: Blueberry, vanilla, plum; clay.
Body: 1-1.5% milk
Taste: Tea, lt. boysenberry, older mulberry must; not tons of fruit left; red licorice?
Finish: 20 seconds
Summary: Great color for the year. Drink now.
Ok fr an older but well kept Lalande. The best Lalande I have had so far.
