October 3, 2023 - Smooth and full of well knitted flavors of rasberry, briar and earth. Very yummy

November 10, 2022 - What I call "Christmas spice" on the nose: nutmeg, marzipan, prunes. Signs of ageing all over and it's only '05. I bet the '06 isn’t like this. It's really nice though. Soft and caressing, surprisingly acidic, almost bitter. Good tension between sweet and savoury. Chalky. Delicious.

November 10, 2022 - Tuscan wines of North London (Terra Rossa): From magnum, and at an excellent stage of evolution in this large format. Ample, inviting and deep with blackcurrant and a touch of truffle. Loved the long finish.

    February 5, 2021 - 2/2, good cork, decanted 1/2 hour.
Medium/deep ruby/garnet, pale garnet rim. Nose is attractive, quite youthful, red cherry, spice. Medium/full bodied, quite bright with sour red cherry fruit, quite youthful still, not particularly deep or long but well balanced and attractive with a touch of tea. Drinking well but showing no signs of falling apart.
