December 20, 2012 - Getting ready for the holidays with a Burgundy dinner (The Bristol - Chicago IL): Slightly floral start, accompanied by apple and pear aromas. Same on palate with a lemon finish. Great minerality and acidity. Lots of lift and energy on finish.

June 29, 2011 - Tasted immediately after opening. Tight nose of mineral and not much else. A little restrained in flavor also, mostly lemon and peach. Good weight and texture. As much tropical as tart on the finish but not heavy by any means. It would benefit from more acidity. We tried the 2007 last night and it is lighter and all citrus, mineral and acid. This wine is still sorting itself out and would benefit from more time in bottle. It is fair to say though that it has more weight, more complex fruit, less mineral and less acidity than the previous vintage and that will not change. Really amazingly different. Both fail to impress given their source and price points but for very different reasons.

April 20, 2011 - Domaine Tasting at Bernard Moreau (Burgundy, France): From bottle at the Domaine. Intense mineral notes on the nose with bits of juicy lemon and white flowers. Gripping acidity and minerality all throughout. Palate has fattened up since the last time I had it. Some grilled bread and smoke notes as well. Searing finish. Very nice!

November 8, 2010 - This is nice; lovely clean and reserved attack, tiny weakness in the mid-palate but I think iti will fleshen out w/time... maybe.... finish is watery, a touch chalky.
