  July 25, 2020 - Method: opened the bottle about 2 hours prior to consuming; Burg glass; about 65 degrees
  
  Look: medium garnet; some skinny medium speed legs
  
  Nose: unagi (to my pleasant surprise), BBQ chip spices, wet forest floor, milk chocolate covered mushroom, black cherry, dark plum, cola; great nose; expressive
  
  Palate: cola, dark cherry, baking spice, dried herbs, mushroom, wet forest floor; medium+ finish of white pepper and light minerality; good flavor concentration; dry; medium+ body; medium big, round, ripe tannins with silky mouthfeel; medium+ acidity
  
  Overall: This wine is in a really great place for me where dark fruit really meets almost equally prominent savory and earthy notes on a concentrated palate. Really great nose that you just want to smell without even taking a sip. Amazing, silky and plump mouthfeel. I'm not sure if it will continue to improve but it's in a really great place right now. Love it!
