Community Tasting Notes 5

November 23, 2013 - Much better than the previous bottle. Didn't have the burnt toast point taste. Nice fruit featuring watermelon, cherry and raspberries. Floral and subtle spices complement this excellent closeout special at $5. Of course fully matured but pleasant.

November 8, 2013 - On the last legs but for $5.50 worth a risk. Cherry, spices and melon. Short to medium finish and nice overall. Worth the price. Day 2 a little on the burnt toasted side. Not what I hoped for but for $5.50 worth a gamble.

June 6, 2010 - Saturday @ Baker's Mill; 6/6/2010-6/7/2010 (Baker's Mill - Appomattox, VA): Light pink hue and quite clear. Nice mineral-driven finish with strawberries and wet iron flavor profiles.

June 6, 2010 - light strawberry on the nose with a little minerality. A palate of strawberry, a little melon rind, and some white pepper minerality going on. Easy drinking on the hot day.

June 6, 2010 - Wine-Soaked Weekend at Baker's Mill (Baker's Mill - Appomattox, VA): bright strawberry color and lots of strawberries on the nose. on the palate, its got high acid and some muskiness to highlight the melon and cherry flavors.
