April 20, 2024 - Armand Rousseau Dinner: Pronounced nose intensity with notes of mushroom, truffle, graphite, red fruits, spices, toast. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Long finish. Aeration 4 hours in bottle.

September 2, 2023 - Deep ruby color. Quite perfumed with a lot of red fruit notes, with a little bit of spice on the back end. Agree with other reviewers that the palate shows a more muscular wine than the nose would suggest. The amount of tannins implies that this needs to age a bit more, while displaying the hallmarks of the warmer vintage. Long finish. Great wine, but not at the same level than the Gevrey offerings.
