June 10, 2023 - This is nice, clear notch up from my previous bottle (April 2016). Well balanced, nice sense of place/typicity. Some very dark red fruit on the nose, palate has dark red fruits, cassis, but at the same time very grippy, Medium to long finish, again the fruit, but also a hint of graphite. Think this is right in its window now, but don’t think there is a big rush to drink up.

December 15, 2022 - Supps with Tim and Phil (McLeay Street Bistro, Potts Point): Savoury and sour blackcurrant, earthy, slight pyrazine, red plum in the background. Juicy savoury, slightly diluted blackcurrant, plenty of slightly chalky textured tannins. Simple, nice.

January 31, 2022 - Coravin fun - Bordeaux (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Medium minus intensity aromas of a little cream and dark fruit. With agitation it starts to show spiced blackcurrant, alcohol warmth, a little cedar, sweet spice, red currant and plum. Juicy, fleshy, black hued fruit is quite savoury, talc textured tannins, a red currant note joins on the long finish. One of its better showings for me. Nice.
