April 18, 2016 - Weekly tasting group #210; Bordeaux: the lesser gods. (@ WW): Garnet rim. In the bouquet red berries and sweet spices. On the palate dark berries, some earth, firm acidity and round tannin with some bite. Some bitterness in the medium long finish. Overall an ok wine and ready now. No real hurry.

February 17, 2014 - Ruby colored core, with garnet rim. The bouquet offers blackcurrant, smoke, tobacco and lemongrass. Cherry, cassis and toast on the palate. Silky smooth texture in the mouth. Tannins are barely noticeable. Medium body. Medium finish. Drink now - 2016.

April 13, 2012 - This turned out to be much nicer than I had anticipated. Good color, charming nose, lots of dark fruit, but this is balanced by a fair degree of acidity and some chalky tannins. Not much oak. Pleasant, fairly long finish. Not a lot of power or complexity, but for a second wine this delivers more than one would expect. A fairly simple, but satisfying, claret that is drinking well now, and will keep for a few years. A bargain.

March 4, 2012 - Good wine for the price.
Little bit young, i think it's better to wait 2 years more.
