March 22, 2020 - Dammit. Still too early. Musty and muted for an hour. Then it opened up gorgeously. Red fruit and tannins and all kinds of finish. Trying to leave some in the glass for another hour. Fun quarantine wine.

March 15, 2020 - Still looks young. Nose of dark cherries, flowers. Extracted sweet cherries, tar, medicinal flavours, light herb. Smooth sweet tannins and long finish. Hasn’t opened up fully and can do with some bottle age.

February 13, 2020 - A beautiful vino! Simple and earthy with that Montalcino chalk taste. Antinori always delivers. A very nice Brunello that has aged well and will continue to do so.

December 15, 2019 - Expressive Sangiovese nose, appropriately earthy and shitty, like a cow had pooped there a few weeks before but then some sweet fruit grew out of the cow patty. Flowery on the palate and a bit drying. The tannins are still very grippy. I think this could use a few more years to soften up.
