    January 6, 2024 - Too mineral
    Harmony after 18H
    Better than 10’
Still can cellaring but not for too long.

January 4, 2024 - Solid Meursault but nothing special here. Wine has taken on some complexity and while some of the intensity is gone the acid remains. Stone fruits.

May 6, 2022 - Pale gold fading to a clear rim.

Subtle and tart on the nose with signs of a heavier toast. Hits of brioche and perfumed white flowers.

Somewhat hot on the palate. Flavours of white flowers and stone lead to a creamy long finish.

Even at 13 years of age, you have to wonder if this wine is too young.

August 14, 2020 - From a magnum. This bottle was in splendid shape. The wine was youthful, fresh and very energetic, with broad layers of citrus and tropical fruit notes, some flint and loads of minerality. The acidity was a touch sharp on this finish, suggesting upside from here (for the brave, that is).

  • Louvin Does not like this wine:

July 21, 2020 - So for the past couple of weeks I've been going thru all my Boillot '09s, mainly the meursault wines and not one have been ok, all oxidized. The only '09 that was decent to good has been the PM Mouchere which, while ripe, was still very enjoyable.
