Community Tasting Notes 10

July 17, 2021 - Darker savory qualities. Rustic showing a fair amount of reductive elements from a bit of age.
Dark raspberries, brown sugar, baking spices and roasted meat.
Finish is medium bodied and shows nice acid. Good example of Washington Syrah with both fruit and funk.

April 13, 2020 - This was spectacular last night. Deeply savory, rich, and briny, this was lifted and singing throughout the spectrum. There were deep bass notes of damson plum, blackberry, smoke, and roasted meat, it was full throughout the mid-palate, and it had a trebly briny tang that, while perhaps a bit brighter than a Northern Rhône counterpart, was delicious and filled out the profile in a really balanced way. The finish was long and intense. A really fine pairing with a beefy French Onion Soup. Wish I had more bottles to follow over the next few years, but this is delicious right now.

July 15, 2018 - Lovely, well-made wine. Very syrah. Positively spicy with the black pepper. Distinct meat and rubber aromas. Sweet and sour blueberry and blackberry. A juicy, flowing style with modest tannins. Certainly within drinking range.
