  January 6, 2012 - Impressively exuberant ripe nose with nice fruits aromas such a peach and pear along with floral and mineral aspects as well as petroleum/shoe box scents in a riesling way lead to a full bodied honey flavored palate (probably also due to its residual sugars) with a nice acidity on the finish though despite its acidity I find the wine to be too rich and lacking of elegance. Impressive however as I would never have expected this variety to produce such rich wines.
  
  Le nez est vraiment très mûr et évoque la pêche, la poire, les fleurs et une sensation minérale. On y trouve également d'étranges notes d'hydrocarbures (pétrolées / boîte à cirage), façon riesling! La bouche est pleine de volume, miellée, avec une certaine sucrosité (peut être seulement une perception due à la haute maturité des raisins?). Il y'a une bonne acidité, mais le vin reste vraiment très riche et étonnant. Prix très élevé pour une Altesse. Mais ça les vaut... presque (20euros)

  November 27, 2011 - High acidity of green lemon followed with a background of fresh tropical fruits as mango and unripe passion fruit.
  Good balanced , about to be stabilised. Good concentration, and strong structure with a perceptible degree of salinity. Could be a top Riesling. Absolutely amazing for this poor AOC. Sorry to Mr Magnin Region. But thanks to his work and terroir. 91 is at least.
