February 28, 2022 - Too young by a decade, but perfect bottle with bright red berry notes and a long, bright palate.

December 1, 2020 - My first time with this producer, and what a way to start! Quite frankly, I'm blown away by how good this wine is. Ethereal, savory nose of soy, cooked mushrooms, sous bois. Enormous depth on the palate, and a long finish. In such a great place now, but this seems like it has the stuffing to go longer. A gorgeous wine - one of the top two or three pinots I can recall.

July 15, 2020 - Blood and citrus take front and center as The red fruits and blackberries recede, especially as compared to one year ago. This is entering its later phases with dignity and force. Arguably at its best right this minute but not petering out by any means.

I hear others’ “funky” comment but drinking this next to a Jadot ‘08 Clos St Jacques <heart> made this seem--not at all uninteresting but--decidedly polished. Now-2022
