  February 25, 2015 - Nice dark color. Cherries on the nose, mixed in with earth. There's a hint of cherry cough syrup, but not in a bad or alcoholic way. Very round and smooth mouthfeel. *Almost* feels a little new world-ish, but the earth and funk keep it from going to the dark side. In a great place.

  March 30, 2014 - Cranberry, dark flowers, dried and fresh, and a touch of spice on the rather closed nose with tart red fruit and spice on the palate. Persistent tannins and acidity.

  March 15, 2012 - Opened for one half hour prior. Dark purple, some opacity/early bricking. Ei got licorice nose.I got classic cherry cola. Rich black cherry flavors, some tomato-ish savory elements. Very thin mid-palate. Smooth. Short finish.

  April 28, 2011 - Restrained nose initially but it opened up nicely in 10-15 min. Great structure, with firm but round tannins; minerality and acidity expected for this terroir. Nice finish. This came along very nicely. I don't have more bottle left but if I had I would enjoy this now or wait a couple of years to go through this.
