February 3, 2014 - Eight years after our last note on this, both I and the wine have added some heft. A bit of SO2 funk upon opening, but that quickly dissipated, leaving a classic German Riesling nose of nice tropical fruits, crushed stone, and diesel fumes. Lightly viscous, but not oily on the palate, with a matching lightweight flavor profile: equal parts apples, pineapple, and slate. Delicious balance and a long, satisfying finish. Mmmmm, Riesling.

March 29, 2006 - Nice, youthful Riesling profile of slate, apple, lime, nectarine, and flowers. It's beginning to develop a faint hint of diesel, and should have many years of improvement ahead.
