  September 16, 2023 - Unique wine from Hubert Lamy. This is before the régime of Haut Densité. The combination of white flower, baby powder, essence of Bosc and Anjou pear is captivating. Thick texture yet medium weight. Clean, refreshing and delicious. It must be mature but radiates youth and vigor.

  March 12, 2022 - La Paulée de New York Gala Dinner (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): In 08/09/10/11/17 vertical. Complex array of bright fruit aromas, supporting with subtle spice and floral hints. Rich but completely harmonious and balanced. The rare 2009 that is better than its 2008 counterpart.

Framed by a soft acid touch and a lush persistent mouthfeel that shows the ripeness of the vintage but in balance. I was surprised by how light on the feet the wine was, which really showed next to the punch you in the mouth powerhouse next to it. It’s always really interesting trying the pre-haut density wines. Always softer, more delicate wines and supple wines before they turned into electric powerhouses in 2013
