1/11/2017 1:28:00 PM - Sorry you had a corked bottle from winebid. If you go to purchase history did the listing mention any disclosure? Also did the listing claim "removed from temperature controlled cellar" like other listings I've seen. Thank you. This will help me and others.

This bottle was "Removed from a temperature and humidity controlled unit". The bottle and capsule were in excellent condition and the cork was well seated. Also, it had not bled up the cork at all. Honestly, my impression is that this was a cork/TCA issue. I do not believe it had anything to do with the handling or provenance of the bottle before or after I obtained it. There is a very distinctive musty quality to trichloroanisole as opposed to a bottle that did not age well or oxidized due to a bad seal.
