Wednesday, March 18, 2020 - Medium ruby with moderate clearing at rim - ? unfiltered
Medium aromas of red fruit and plum with predominant green herbs/ pepper and mild oak influence
Medium/ thin palate of red fruit
Medium acidity and medium tannins with shortish finish
Pretty typical Chinon but a little lacking, especially considering the sunny vintage

I rarely do this, but tasting this wine the next day definitely warranted comment - The wines fruit has now blossomed into intense red fruit as I had previously expected - now warranting a 90-91
