Thursday, December 24, 2020 - First bottle ever of this producer.....decanted for 1 hour prior to tasting. Black fruit, bit of a muted nose. thin to at most medium weight in the mouth, slightly tart finish to the wine. Hours 2-3 a totally different story. This opens up and settles in nicely. The nose improves, great cab elements evolve. Fruit deepens and becomes richer, silkier, the tart ending leaves. Tannins are still there but not obtrusive. At hour 3 this is a very nice wine, maybe close to a 94 and $125/bottle. Great qpr here. But you must give it airtime to get there.
