Tuesday, June 15, 2021 - Very nice mature Pomerol close to, if not at peak. Decanted for 2 hours and back into cleaned bottle. Nose and notes of ripe red fruits, tobacco, graphite, mushroom, leather and forest floor. Medium bodied, with fresh acidity and tannins showing still, this is what I hope for in aged Bordeaux. Perfect with the ribeye. Time left.
