Saturday, November 27, 2021 - I'm about as big of a Bedrock fan as you can be, and I've had the pleasure of trying many of Morgan/Chris's offerings. That said, I can say with the utmost confidence that the 2008 is hands down my favorite wine that they have made to date. Think of your grandmother's Blueberry pie, mixed with just the right amount of structure, waves of acidity, and a long finish. Truly just happiness in a bottle. It's been a Thanksgiving tradition to pop one of these for the past 5 years and it literally get better every time. Only 2 left but fingers crossed I can source some more to keep the tradition going. Thanks Morgan and Chris for making us smile and for adding some extra joy to our Holidays!

11/28/2021 1:20:00 PM - Rich, I noticed your post on Instagram about this wine and the coloring was beautiful! I could taste the picture through your notes. I'm new to Bedrock so my collection is painfully young. With that I did load up starting in 18 so I will have plenty to drink over the next 10. Side note I'm loving the whites from 19. The semillon and bien nacido chard are killer!

11/28/2021 7:56:00 PM - Thanks brother! Yep, the color was just beautiful! A deep/dusty purple kinda thing going on. And 18 sounds like a great year to start loading up! In the meantime, see if you can snag a few online to get a taste for how they age. Maybe look for 2012's as they should be fairly easy to source, and they are drinking REALLY well! Or....swing by AZ and we'll pop some bottles :)
