2019 Château Lilian Ladouys

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Tuesday, January 10, 2023 - From a single bottle purchased at retail. Everything was in balance and present in the right amounts—fruit, alcohol, acid, and tannins. The tannins were ripe, and there was a good core of red and black fruits that was judiciously dosed with oak and showing wood spices in the substantial finish.

Is this an 88 or is it a 94? I don’t have enough experience to tell such things at such an early stage, so I’ll refrain from scoring this and just say this was very good and seemed distinctly above average at this point. It’s also relatively approachable already, even from from PnP. 13.5% ABV.
