Monday, July 10, 2023 - My first 'Generations' ever. Grapey, with big fruit at the pnp...slow ox'd cork out in the cellar for 2 hours and it worked! Taken to HMC's for dinner and enjoyed over 2-3 hours when it really settled in. Dark purple in the glass. Basic Napa Cab nose. Nice red/black fruit, balanced and has some nice weight to it. Just not enough to drink deeper or with a higher score. Seems just a tad generic, if that makes sense? This is, like many '19s, immediately accessible if you so choose. A nice wine at the discounted price I obtained it at of about $88. I wouldn't pay much more for it. Three left in the cellar, it'll be nice to see how they age and if they develop any further complexity.
