Tuesday, October 3, 2023 - Very dark red plus color. PNP, drank a couple glasses over 2 hours plus. The nose starts off nicely with menthol notes, sandalwood, cassis, dried herbs and black raspberries. The palate is medium-full bodied, showing that elegant side, though not as much as other bottles from this vintage; wood, minerals, cassis, black cherry, cassis, graphite and still firmish tannins that do caress a bit more over the two hours. This is quite good, though it still benefits from somewhat generous amounts of air. 92+ to 93pts.
