2018 Figgins Estate Red Wine

Wednesday, January 10, 2024 - Four hour decant. Very very deep magenta color. Black cherry, raspberry, licorice, hydrangea, and subtle mocha. Dry, satiny, medium+ bodied palate, with sandy acidity. Firm tannins on the longish finish.

This is young and a bit reserved at the moment, but is nicely built. One or two more years should benefit this greatly. If drinking this year, give it at least a 6-hour decant.
