Wednesday, March 27, 2024 - France Planning Dinner & Burgs (Bucheron, MPls): Light gold color. Drank a glass over an hour. My backup for the '10 Droin Les Clos. This was my first bottle of any of the '07 Defaix's and it did not disappoint. This has grand cru weight and power, with tons of briny ocean and limestone on the palate, deep lemon-lime fruit and some honeycomb. The palate is deep and filled with oyster shell, saline, swampy earth, tart lemon, and lemon-lime with lots of dry extract. 93+ to 94pts.
