Saturday, October 17, 2009 - {ST} Color golden yellow, clear, medium-light body. Gorgeous nose, an effusive floral complex of gardenias, daisies, lychee, pineapple, citrus zest, ginger spice and honey. On the palate a restrained sweetness of pineapple, apricot, and pear fruits well mixed with slate and minerals and some sea mist. Bouyant acid level. Overall very delicious, and my only complaint is that the concentration of fruit flavors seemed lighter than I expected from the fantastic bouquet, and relatively short finish did not help. OK value at 40.
