Saturday, March 11, 2006 - This bottle was not meant to be opened, but some unknown guest at a party (non-winos) wandered into my cellar and opened it. I managed to get a pour before the crowd chugged it down. There was a slight funk on the nose that I could not identify. I have no idea if it was present on opening, but it was in my glass. A little swirl took care of that, and this screamed peaches, peaches and more peaches. Nice acidity and mouthfeel. Long sweet finish. Need to replace this bottle (and purchase a few additional).
