  Showing surprisingly young and fresh; it will easily go another decade or more. A subtle sweetness finds itself well-balanced between lively acidity and fresh fruit.

  [1st of 12 bottles]
  Wonderful aged JJ Prum, med golden orange color. Honey ladened stone fruit, ripe apricot, and orchard fruit with not too much sugar on the long long finish. Acid is still vibrant and the tertiary notes are developing nicely. Definitely in its drinking window, but there is no rush to drink it.
  
  Compared to the 2002 JJ Prum Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spatlese and the 2002 JJ Prum Graacher Himmelreich Spatlese, I would put this right under the Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spatlese, although it was very close. 93-94 pts
