Wednesday, April 7, 2010 - 8/10 - Lots of dark fruit and oak. Ripe concentrated juicy flavours. For some reason, felt a lack of elegance compared to the earlier tasted Couvent de Jacobsin 2005. Tannins were very slightly rough around the edges and the wine tasted a tad disjointed. Each of the aspects in themselves were great, but the tannins did not hold everything together seamlessly. Still, enjoyed the wine a lot.
