Saturday, May 1, 2010 - compared with previous vintages I found this Gazin with a significantly less intense colour. Watery purple. There was little aroma and the taste was similarly disappointing with virtually no spice that has been so evident in previous vintages - notably the 2000. As the bottle progressed the wine failed to open any more . Faint black-currant with little follow through. Not unpleasant but I hope will improve with another try in 6m
