Sunday, September 19, 2010 - (John Larue's Birthday Night)

Decanted for one hour. Deep and brooding garnet in colour, with a lightening rim. Wet earth, oak, red fruit - like cherries, tobacco and a little licorice. Very round tannins with a hint of velvet. This wine is quite well made and really drinking nicely. A long finish and an overall great mouth feel. Very impressive on all levels. Drink now - 2017.
