  20 years old and still showing it's glory! Leather, wood, dried cherry and red fruits, balsamic flavor, acidity still alive with soft, nearly velvet-like tannins. Having it with overn-roasted lamb in herbs in a little bit. Excited!

  Showing it's age with some bricking near the edge of the glass. Dust on the nose. Plenty of fruit, though especially plum and tobacco. Balanced 14% abv with subtle oak. Decanted with less sediment than expected. Had with a variety of Spanish tapas prepared by Chef Robbie Meltzer at Jaleo - Bethesda, MD

  Sweet red berry and cherry with cedar celery stalk and spice. Gripping tannin on a medium sweet finish.
