Saturday, February 12, 2011 - Saturday Tasting Group (Knightsbridge Wine Shop (Northbrook, IL)): Stunning complex nose. Rich dark spice.
Funky earthy, showing a touch of age.
Pungent sulfuric aroma of Gevrey gave this away for me.
Palate is still really young and backwards. High acidity.
Palate is a bit leaner than I'd like to see, and the finish dies off a touch, but as a whole it's still really nice.
