Roussanne is a peculiar grape which can provide elegance and power at the same time, with sublime acidity but yet pairing very well to food. The 2006 Alban Roussanne contains all of these different components. Tonight served with steamed North Sea cod, some shrimp, melted butter and asparagus. Highly recommended.
