Saturday, June 18, 2011 - Brought to Alegrias, pop and poured into a decanter. A bit tight as expected from a Gran Riserva but not undrinkable, however last glass was the best. Notes of dried red fruit, soy, with hints of wet earth and saline. Was a bit more fruit forward than expected but still had enough old world nuances to make it interesting. Palate had loads of red fruit, cherry, strawberry and cranberry coupled with some funky sauvage.
