Wednesday, August 3, 2011 - Nice violet-ruby color. Aromas of blackberries, cherries, oak, and wood. Palate is sound with blackberries, with stark minerality. Some more smoky raspberry elements with slight liquor on the back end. Did not get any typical Pomerol notes like the Le Gay I had earlier this year. Solid.
